2025 Edition Finalists

The Viviane Esders Prize team is delighted to present the three finalists for the 2025 edition. The jury convened by Viviane Esders selected three distinct approaches to photography, reflecting a spirit of discovery or rediscovery of careers that embody photographic practices of the past forty years.

This year, the prize received 222 applications from 25 European countries, including 32% women photographers and 68% men photographers. Forty-two of the submitted applications were proposed by nominators.

42 of the submitted applications were proposed by the Nominators, a new group of European photography experts involved in the search for artists.
